Our History
Founded in 1989, Confey GAA Club has grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant and thriving cornerstone of the Leixlip community. From the outset, the club was built on a strong foundation of community spirit, volunteerism, and a deep love for Gaelic games. In the years since, Confey has proudly represented the parish at all levels of Gaelic football, hurling, camogie, and ladies football.

What began with just a handful of players and a dream has developed into a multi-code club with state-of-the-art facilities, multiple pitches, and a passionate membership that spans generations. Our teams have claimed numerous county titles across age groups and codes, reflecting both the talent and commitment of our players, coaches, and supporters.

Confey GAA is more than just a sports club, it's a community hub that nurtures lifelong friendships, promotes Irish culture, and inspires pride in our heritage. As we look to the future, we remain committed to developing the next generation of players and continuing to build on the strong legacy left by those who came before us.
