Confey Men’s Shed was founded on 26th April 2022. We currently have 32 members. Our activities involve... bowls, cards, walks, coffee mornings, visits to historical sites and museums ... Arigna mines, Belfast City Hall, Stormont, Croke Park, Glasnevin Cemetery (thankfully we were all let out, a few undertakers were watching us very closely), ploughing championship and more planned. 

 

We have recently acquired a vegetable allotment. We also have a very successful Christmas party every year. We are currently in the process of setting up a workshop for various crafts. We hope to organise computer classes and talks on health issues, fitness and other issues. We would like to set a social morning where members could play or learn to play a musical instrument, sing a song, do recitations, have a general chat and maybe tell a few lies.
